Should I practice with active skin irritation or sensitivity?
If your skin is actively irritated or inflamed, pause practice or avoid the affected areas until it has calmed.
If you are experiencing active irritation, inflammation, acne flare-ups, eczema, rosacea sensitivity, open or broken skin, or significant discomfort, we recommend pausing your practice or avoiding the affected areas until your skin has calmed.
The Sculpt phase in particular involves massage and movement across the skin, which can aggravate areas that are already inflamed or broken. There is no benefit to pushing through irritation.
A sensible approach
- Skip the affected zones and continue with the rest if the irritation is localized.
- Pause entirely if your skin is broadly inflamed or uncomfortable.
- Ease back in once your skin has settled.
- When in doubt, check with a dermatologist or your medical team.
This guidance is general information, not medical advice. If something feels wrong for your skin, listen to it.
